The following stories are from Clientcopia.com. Clientcopia is the place to go for hilarious excerpts from real life quotes displaying the blatant stupidity of a 'small percentage' of clients attaining professional services. Enjoy!!! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Wack'em Tablet A customer comes into the store and says to me, "This Tablet you sold me is a piece of crap it never works!" Concerned that I sold the man a broken Wacom, I asked him to show me what was wrong with it. I plug in the tablet and, because I believe in having the client DO what it is they always do in front of me, I handed him his stylus and asked him to show me whats wrong. We launch photoshop and he proceeds to put the pen up the monitor and start scribbling vigorously. "see?! total crap!" I just closed my eyes and went to my happy place. ________________________________________________________________________________________ Complaints about Photoshop Client: "I am very upset with this Photoshop program on my computer" Me: "What seems to be the problem you are having" Client: "Well, I work on these photos for hours and then when I come back it they aren't there!" Assuming the worst, that all her hard work was corrupted I go into her hard drive to locate her projects, but I find nothing. Client: "See what I mean they are all gone!" I close my eyes and inhail - "ok... see under File... see this Save As... command?" Client: "ooohhhh!" How do these people function in everyday life? ________________________________________________________________________________________ I'm not in Marketing Them: "so you put in contingencies for everything you could think of, so what didn't you think of?" Me: "if I could think of it, it's been handled, so things I can't think of will be dealt with when they come up" Them: "Can you give examples" Me: "if I can't think of it, it's hard to give examples of it" They seemed confused I'm sorry; I can't put concepts to words without thinking of them first. I'm not in marketing, you see.
